Thunder Varsity Takes Indy Tourney

We won! Music City Thunder Varsity wheelchair basketball team went to Indiana over the weekend and played tough, winning most games by 20 or more points. All players enjoyed getting in the games and contributing to a successful weekend. Thunder defeated Hammond Rolling Hoosiers in the championship game 64-44. Good job Thunder!
Thunder Prep won and lost games this weekend, losing their final game in a heart stopper to Indiana JR. Pacers 18-16. All players big and small played hard, learned some lessons, and had fun.
A good winner knows how to lose.
I am proud of both teams, and want to say thanks to the parents and coaches for helping the Athletes Build Life Experiences.....

ABLE Youth Kids At Temple Fitness Boot Camp!

Temple Fitness graciously invited our ball players to go thru an intense strength training session today. Joey, owner and director of Temple Fitness in Franklin, heard about our program through his work with Music City Thunder player Hunter Alexandrow. Hunter's father Ken introduced me to Joey, and the rest is history. All the kids did a great job, had lots of fun, and learned new ways to get stronger. Thanks to Joey and all his helpers, you guys at Temple Fitness are great! Please see photos on the left side of the page entitled Boot Camp.
